Lexmark Pro901 Printhead Error- How to fix it!
Have you been struck with the Print head Error, or very streaky prints too?
So I have had this printer for about eighteen months now, and out of the blue the print head blunder creature got me as well (and I excessively discovered that the thing was put in a rain check for). Before that, the printer had worked generally extraordinary and was super financially savvy. Well when all else fails, compromise is unavoidable, thus I chose to take the print take off and clean it myself. Lexmark Printer Support After a day (not immediately mind you as it needs to dry first) I have a working printer head :). Dislike I had anything to lose with my print head mistake message. Attempt at your own hazard :). I composed this in the wake of seeing other individuals would be in an indistinguishable vessel from me
1)Try the most secure first
Lexmark says just to wipe the base back of the printhead with a fabric (this was a no go and didn't work for me). Here is the article on Lexmark's Printerhead Cleaning
2) somewhat more unsafe

I flipped around the print head - where the ink returns out the (there is gold thwart here), and put two tops of isopropyl liquor inside), at that point I shook it and depleted it out, at that point rehash until the point when I quit getting so much ink. I at that point really put the entire thing under boiling water (this time with the printerhead right side up, so it depleted out the base), and let it get all the ink out. Sat tight a day for it to dry and tada a working print head, better than anyone might have expected before :).
Uncertain about getting a printer head wet, I was... I felt somewhat better about getting the printer head wet when I saw this little video (which demonstrates that stars hydroblasting water into printer heads, so I figured it would be alright for me to do- - simply skip to 10:52 to see the printhead submerged like a submarine.
